Paso Robles Joint Unified School District

As part of our commitment to environmental sustainability, responsible fiscal stewardship, and innovative communication practices, Paso Robles Joint Unified School District distributes school and community flyers electronically through Peachjar.

Instead of sending paper flyers home, approved materials are delivered directly to families via email using the Peachjar platform.

All flyers submitted by outside community organizations must receive prior approval from the District Office before distribution. Please note that flyers are not distributed during summer break or school holidays.

To be eligible to use the Peachjar system, organizations must be local nonprofit entities with a valid 501(c)(3) tax identification number.

Peachjar charges a service fee to outside organizations, which is generally lower than the cost of printing and physically distributing paper copies. In addition, Peachjar offers a complimentary “free-for-free” distribution option for qualifying organizations and approved flyers. Additional information about the “free-for-free” program is provided below.

Flyer Distribution Requirements

All flyers submitted by outside organizations must:

• Comply with all PRJUSD Board Policies, including BP 1325 – Advertising & Promotion

• Directly benefit PRJUSD students or provide intrinsic value to students and/or parents

• Not conflict with existing PRJUSD programs or services

• Be provided in both English and Spanish

How to Submit a Flyer for Approval

Before submitting, please ensure your flyer meets the requirements listed above.

1. Visit the Peachjar website and register as a Program Provider.

2. Select Enrichment Provider as your account type.

3. Choose the PRJUSD school site(s) where you would like the flyer distributed.

4. Upload your flyer through the Peachjar platform for review.

Once submitted, your flyer will automatically route to the District Office for review. District staff will approve or deny the request based on the established standards above. Approved flyers will be emailed to families and posted online through the Peachjar system.

Peachjar Fees and “Free-for-Free” Program

Peachjar charges a service fee when organizations promote activities or events that require a participation fee. The fee also applies to events offered at no cost if they encourage participants to enroll in a paid program or purchase products or services (for example, a free clinic connected to a fee-based league).

Peachjar waives its service fee for qualifying “Free-for-Free” flyers. This applies to events that are completely free and do not promote paid programs, products, or services. Each eligible organization may receive one Free-for-Free posting every 30 days.
