Business Services

The Business Services Department supports the mission of Paso Robles Joint Unified School District by ensuring the operational, financial, and facility needs of the district are managed efficiently and responsibly. By maintaining safe schools, managing resources wisely, and providing essential operational services, the department helps create an environment where educators can focus on teaching and students can focus on learning. Under the leadership of Assistant Superintendent of Business Services Brad Pawlowski, the department works to align operational support with the district’s commitment to student success and a safe, supportive learning environment.

 

 

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Facilities and Planning – Oversees facility development, modernization, and long-term planning for district sites.

  • Finance – Manages district budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting to ensure responsible stewardship of public funds.

  • Food Services – Provides nutritious meals that support student health and readiness to learn.

  •  Maintenance and Operations – Maintains safe, clean, and functional school facilities and grounds.
  • Purchasing & Warehouse – Procures goods and services and manages inventory to support district programs.

 

  • Transportation – Ensures safe and reliable transportation for students.

  • Risk Management – Manages district risk, insurance, and safety programs.

  • Workers’ Compensation – Supports employees through workplace injury claims and compliance processes.
