Summer Algebra Institute

Logo for Paso Robles Joint Unified School District's Summer Algebra Institute. The Summer Algebra Institute is a five-week academic enrichment program for students grades 7 and above, designed to strengthen algebra skills and prepare students for college success.

Through this grant-funded program, PRJUSD will provide incoming middle and high school students with targeted instruction in mathematics and quantitative reasoning, paired with hands-on, real-world learning experiences and exposure to college pathways.

In addition to focused math instruction, students will engage in a variety of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) activities designed to bring math concepts to life. These may include coding, drone programming, and other applied learning experiences that connect classroom concepts to real-world applications.

The program also emphasizes college and career readiness. Students will participate in college knowledge workshops and have the opportunity to visit a CSU campus, giving them a firsthand look at academic programs, student life, and the resources available to support their future success.

Program Schedule

  • June 10 through July 10, Monday – Friday
