The newest issue of Paso Proud is here!

Issue 5 highlights the generosity, talent, and community spirit that make Paso Schools special. Inside, you’ll read about Kermit King students collecting more than 2,300 food items for Loaves & Fishes, a districtwide celebration of literacy on World Read Aloud Day at Winifred Pifer, and Bearcat student-athletes honored through the Lions Club’s long-standing Sportsmanship Awards tradition.

You’ll also see photos from the opening of the new Paso Robles Aquatics Center, learn about PRHS jazz musicians performing on a world-class stage through the Libretto Conservatory Program, and meet several outstanding CTE students and Secondary Scholars of the Week from across the district.

Take a few minutes to explore the stories, celebrations, and student achievements happening across Paso Schools.

What is Paso Proud?

Paso Proud is our monthly newsletter, created to give families, staff, and community members a closer look at the wonderful things happening across Paso schools. Each issue shines a light on student and staff achievements, shares key updates, and celebrates the partnerships that make our district strong. It’s one more way to stay connected to the life of our schools—and to the stories that show why we’re Paso Proud.

Student Perspective

If you enjoy Paso Proud, you may also enjoy reading Crimson Newsmagazine, Paso Robles High School’s student-run publication. Produced by a staff of 29 PRHS journalism students, Crimson covers campus life, school events, and issues affecting the broader Paso Robles community. In addition to written reporting, students produce podcasts, videos, photo galleries, and other multimedia projects, giving readers a student perspective on the stories shaping life at Paso High. Journalism 3 advanced students manage the publication’s operations and editorial direction, while Journalism 2 students contribute reporting and learn the foundations of student journalism.
