CTE Student of the Week: Mars Fash

It's time to celebrate our CTE Student of the Week, representing the Production and Managerial Arts pathway, Mars Fash!

Mars is an incredible asset to Paso High Theatre Co.. They serve as the primary lighting designer and stage manager for both the fall play and the spring musical. Mars supports rehearsals and takes charge during Tech Week, acting as the student leader who calls each cue to ensure the production matches the director’s vision. They do all of this with kindness, organization, and professionalism. Mars plans to pursue lighting design in college and hopes to design professionally.

We are honoring Mars for the exceptional work they do now and for all they hope to accomplish. Congratulations, Mars!

Secondary Scholar of the Week: Hector Vergara

Please join us in celebrating our Secondary Scholar of the Week, representing Lewis Flamson Junior High, Hector Vergara!

Hector is a dedicated student who consistently gives his best effort, makes positive choices, and takes pride in completing his work to the highest standard. His kindness, compassion, and strong character help create a welcoming classroom environment and make our school community a better place each day.

Congratulations, Hector—we're proud to have you as a LFJH Jaguar and future Bearcat!

This year, LFJH and GBDI have come together to present a collaborative performance highlighting the talent and dedication of our junior high dancers. Nearly 120 students are participating, with many of the pieces choreographed by the students themselves.

We are also proud to share that several PRHS Advanced Dance students partnered with our junior high performers, creating original choreography and serving as mentors.
