Dear Paso Schools Families,
With only 28 days this month—and two three-day weekends—February can feel like it flies by, so we’ll cut to the chase. Here are three brief updates, followed by your usual announcements and reminders.
📰 The latest issue of Paso Proud is available!
Don’t miss highlights from our 2026 Wrestling League Champions’ first-ever Pep Rally Dual Meet, featuring outstanding photography by PRHS student photographer Keely Smith. The issue is linked below in both English and Spanish.
🧠 Join us this Wednesday for Parent University with award-winning author Kristin Souers.
This practical, research-based session—10 Things Our Brains Need to Be Healthy—is designed for parents and adult caregivers of students in grades TK–12, including grandparents, coaches, child-care providers, and educators.
Learn how stress impacts teaching and learning, explore ten simple strategies that support brain health, and leave with easy, actionable tools to help children (and adults) stay regulated, focused, and ready to learn—while strengthening adult-child relationships.
All attendees will receive a practical resource, and several participants will have a chance to win one of Kristin Souers’ books. Childcare and refreshments are provided.
Wednesday, February 11 | 6:00–7:00 PM
Georgia Brown Multi-Purpose Room
900 Creston Rd., Paso Robles
