Dear families,

We’re excited to share that after several months of quiet work behind the scenes, our district and school websites are getting a refresh! This Wednesday, we’ll officially “flip the switch,” and the new websites for every school and the district will begin going live.

This update supports an ongoing districtwide aim of enhancing our communication systems. Our goal is to ensure families feel informed, welcomed, and empowered, with easy access to the information you need.

The new sites connect directly to ParentSquare and each school’s Google Calendar, helping keep information current and consistent. You’ll also notice key items like food menus, academic calendars, and family news featured right on the homepage.

All website addresses will remain the same. We’ll share more details in next week’s update, but wanted to give families a heads-up that this exciting update is coming!

Thank you to everyone who took the time to share their feedback regarding the new format of this weekly update. We're always open to new ideas and ways to improve, so please don't hesitate to leave a comment below (comments are visible only to district staff).

This week we're celebrating PRHS CTE Student of the Week, Trevor Hinton! Trevor is a standout student in Agricultural Mechanics at Paso Robles High School.

Trevor excels in our welding classes and he brings an impressive level of skill and dedication to everything he does. While holding a job in the industry, he has completed several high-quality projects this year alone—demonstrating both technical ability and strong work ethic.

He leads by example in the shop by always wearing proper PPE, working safely, and treating his peers with respect. Trevor uses his time wisely, asks thoughtful questions to deepen his understanding, and helps create a positive, energetic environment for everyone around him.

Trevor consistently models the qualities of an outstanding, well-rounded CTE student, and we couldn’t be prouder to call him a Bearcat!

Lewis Flamson Junior High invites Paso Schools families to the 2026 Winter Showcase featuring performances by Drama 2 students, Thursday, January 29, 6:30-8:00 PM in the LFJH Multipurpose Room. Admission is $5 at the door.

Enrollment packets are available at pasoschools.org and in the District Office, 800 Niblick Rd. Enrollment is open February 2 - February 20.
