KSBY was on hand as Kermit King Elementary School students helped cut the ribbon on their new ADA-accessible playground and Expanded Learning classrooms. The new classrooms have helped more than double the school’s after-school program capacity, from approximately 50 students to 110, while the new playground gives students an updated, inclusive space to play and connect.
