PRJUSD to Celebrate New TK and Kindergarten Complex at Georgia Brown Dual Immersion

Paso Robles Joint Unified School District (PRJUSD) will celebrate the completion of a new Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten complex at Georgia Brown Dual Immersion School with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, October 16, 2026, at 3:00 p.m.
The new complex features six classrooms and a playground complete with a musical garden, creating opportunities for hands-on exploration, creative expression, and play-based learning. The project was funded through Measure M, the $95 million general obligation bond approved by local voters in 2016 to improve school facilities throughout the District.
Georgia Brown Dual Immersion School offers students a bilingual educational experience in English and Spanish, beginning in the earliest grades. PRJUSD also provides free, full-day Transitional Kindergarten across the District, giving families access to early childhood education that helps children build foundational academic and social skills before entering Kindergarten.
The new complex is among the latest improvements made possible by Measure M, which has also funded the rebuilding of Glen Speck Elementary School, construction of the Marie Bauer Early Education Center and the Paso Robles Aquatics Center, new classrooms at Lewis Flamson Junior High School, and upgrades to playgrounds, restrooms, roofs, and heating and air conditioning systems at schools throughout the District.
Friday's ribbon-cutting ceremony will bring together students, families, staff, District leadership, Board of Trustees members, and community partners to celebrate the new facilities and recognize the continued investment of Paso Robles voters in their public schools.
