PASO ROBLES, CA — The Paso Robles High School Theatre Company invites families and community members to step into a world of imagination when students present Seussical™ KIDS on February 20 and 21, 2026 at Paso Robles High School.
Featuring beloved characters from the stories of Dr. Seuss — including Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, and the Whos of Whoville — this whimsical musical celebrates the power of imagination and the importance of standing up for others.
Performances will take place at 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. each evening in the Paso Robles High School Performing Arts Center, located at 801 Niblick Road, Paso Robles. Tickets are available online.
With a runtime of approximately 30 minutes, Seussical™ KIDS is the perfect introduction to live theatre for young children. The fast-paced format keeps audiences engaged while giving students the opportunity to shine on stage in a full musical production.
Directed by Marcy Keyser-Goodnow, the show highlights the creativity, talent, and collaboration of Paso Robles High School students both on stage and behind the scenes. From colorful costumes and lively choreography to energetic musical numbers, audiences of all ages will enjoy this vibrant adaptation designed especially for young audiences.
Seussical™ KIDS follows Horton the Elephant as he discovers a tiny world on a speck of dust and vows to protect it, proving that “a person’s a person, no matter how small.” Along the way, the Cat in the Hat guides audiences through a playful adventure filled with humor, and memorable music.
This family-friendly production is open to the entire community and is especially ideal for elementary-aged children experiencing live theatre for the first time.
