Welcome to the MOT Department!   We take pride in our commitment to high-quality, safe environments that contribute to the success of students and staff.

We support student achievement by providing excellent quality services with integrity and pride, maintaining school facilities in a clean, safe, healthy learning environment and providing safe, efficient, and timely transportation.  All of these qualities enhance the student's ability to learn and excel.  Our goal is to provide support for all students, staff, and parents; supporting academic success and community pride. 

The PRJUSD Maintenance, Operations, and Transportation Departments are responsible for transporting 1,328 students daily, has a combined 26 routes, fleet of 34 buses, repairing and maintaining approximately 800,000 square feet of classrooms and buildings and 181 acres of turf and grounds.

PRJUSD's custodial team inspects schools for cleanliness making sure they are both clean and safe for our students, staff, and visitors.  Our staff is up-to-date in the latest cleanliness standards.  Each school site has its own custodial staff.  The number of custodial workers at each site is determined by a formula that takes into consideration the size of the building and cleaning density. 

Our dedicated Grounds Department is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of our lawns, athletic fields, playgrounds, and flowerbeds. They take pride in having clean grounds and sporting event facilities.
