Mission statement: The Paso Robles Joint Unified School District’s mission is to deliver an exemplary education in a safe environment which empowers students with the skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary for success in an everchanging world.
The Paso Robles Joint Unified School District’s Special Education Department embodies the district’s belief that “Every student will have success”. The Individuals with Disabilities in Education Act (IDEA), states that all eligible children, ages 3 to 22, with disabilities are entitled to receive a Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE). PRJUSD’s Special Education programs and services are designed to provide individualized instruction to meet the unique needs of eligible children in the least restrictive environment (LRE).
