California SkillsUSA Regional Contests were held virtually during the months of Jan. & Feb. 2023. PRHS had 117 students registered for the Conference. Contests were on Saturdays beginning in mid-January and ending in February. Contestants competed in 29 different contests throughout this time. Typically the contestants sent in a resume, took a SkillsUSA Essentials quiz, took competency tests in their contest content, and performed their contests task virtually, either live or recorded. On February 23, the contest's results were released.
PRHS contestants received 22 Gold Medals, 13 Silver Medals, and 8 Bronze Medals. These students will compete at the California State Conference on April 13 - 16 at the Ontario Conference Center.
