Career Day is only a few days away. On April 4th, PRHS will offer our High School students a first-ever Annual Career Fair! Although the announcement is to invite local businesses to be a part of this incredible opportunity to showcase their business, parents also have a golden opportunity to discuss careers with their students. Parents, this is a grand opportunity to discuss your student's career interests. What are they passionate about? Remind your student that there will be a Career Fair on the PRHS campus on Tuesday, April 4th, and take the time to look around and ask questions to the companies on site. This is a great topic to engage with your students around the table, at the gym, or even driving them to or from school.
You can find more information on career paths from the College and Career Center that's on campus. In addition, we also have SkillsUSA Chapter 211, where you can learn more about the wide variety of career interests. Click on the following link to learn more about PRHS SkillsUSA Chapter 211. If you are unsure about a career path and need assistance, call the Counseling Department at (805) 769- 1530 to make an appointment.
