Parent University
What is Parent University?
The Paso Robles Joint Unified School District (PRJUSD) values parents' and guardians' active role in their student's education. To support this important relationship, the district seeks to educate and empower families as partners, advocates, and lifelong educators in their student's education through free courses, resources, events, and activities.
Throughout the 2023-2024 school year, PRJUSD will offer free workshops on various educational topics so parents and guardians can better support their student's learning. Research indicates that when schools work with families to support education, students perform better in school and throughout life.
What is the goal of Parent University?
The goal is to empower families through family involvement and to develop a lasting learning partnership in which parents learn and support their students in achieving academic and personal success.
When are classes offered?
Classes are offered during evening hours in English and Spanish on various days of the week. A Parent University Calendar will be published to inform you of upcoming educational workshops.
