Congratulations, Mr. Overton!

During the March 12 board meeting, Anthony Overton was named the Paso Robles High School Principal. Mr. Overton has been with PRJUSD for the last nine years in the followng roles: science teacher, activities director, and vice principal at Paso Robles High School. He received the teacher of the year at Paso Robles High School in 2015. In his 9 years, he has also been an assistant coach for Bearcat Cross Country and head coach for Bearcat Track and Field. He earned his bachelor’s degree, credential and master’s cegree from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. He was also recognized countywide in 2017 as the Top 20 under 40 in San Luis Obispo County. He has passion for students, learning and incredible communication and organization skills. Mr. Overton states: "He is so thankful for this opportunity and looks forward to working with the amazing team of teachers at Paso Robles High School." He is excited to continue supporting our Bearcats and working with the community in this new leadership role.
