• Leopard logo Welcome Leopard Families and Friends,

Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year! In alignment with our District belief that every student will have success, we believe in the importance of meeting the academic and social/emotional needs of every child. We are committed to maintaining a safe environment which empowers, challenges, and connects every student to (at least) one of our many programs including clubs, athletics, intramurals, drama, dance, and music. We recognize that middle school years can be a difficult yet critical time in which students are forming values and habits which largely impact their development as young adults.

We offer many fabulous clubs on campus led by our own teachers as staff advisors.  This is one of the ways in which we maintain relevance and connection to our students and their interests.    Some of our clubs include: Performing arts club, Equity club, Shine Club, History Club, Robotics Club, Book Club, and more!

We are excited about our Positive Behavior Intervention Supports (PBIS) framework at Lewis Middle School  which provides a  proactive approach to  behavioral supports and social culture for all students. On campus, students take pride in our SPOTS (Success, Positive Attitude, Ownership, Teamwork, Safety Minded) and are commended throughout the day for demonstration of those characteristics in their daily routine.  Students can "cash out" their Paw Points for awesome rewards in the SPOTS shop twice a week!

    Lunch with Your Kid
We welcome all of our Leopard families to join us for lunch with your student on the second Tuesday of every month (make sure to check into the office first). You can enjoy a brown bag lunch or bring your child their favorite food.  Both our front gate as well as Centennial entrance will be available to facilitate with traffic flow and parking.
We are immensely grateful and proud of our PTO/DELL organization which consists of many parents and volunteers who assist in the office and organize fund raisers, dances, assemblies, field trips and much more. As we launch our 2018-2019 school year, consider getting involved in our PTO/DELL!  For further information, please email Dellpto@gmail.com or stop by the Lewis Middle School office.
