Mr. Ashley Lightfoot, Director of Business Operations

Ashley started as Director of Business Services on August 26, 1996. His responsibilities span all of Support Services; Operations/Custodial, Facilities, Transportation, Maintenance and Grounds, District Safety Coordination, and many other collateral functions in the district. " My main goal is to make sure that the kids and the staff of this district have what they need to learn. I also strive to make sure that the people in this division have what they need to do their job in supporting the district."

Ashley spent the first years of his career as a Marine pilot after graduating from the U.S. Naval Academy. Upon moving into the civilian world in the fall of 1993, he held jobs in sales and engineering. " The Support Services division of the district has given me the opportunity to work for and with some of the greatest people I've known. We have folks that will go the extra mile every time without being asked. I'm proud to be associated with this group."

Use of Facilities

The following Fee Schedule is supplied for the general public to reference for planning an event on district grounds. For current UoF information and conditions, contact Ms.Patti Tringham at (805) 237-3376.

Facilities fees were based on the cost of custodial salaries as an average for normal time and overtime rates. Next a percentage was added based on the size of the facility used as follows:

Classroom is the base rate $ 14.00 o/t $ 19.00

Multi-Purpose Rooms + 5% $ 14.50 o/t $ 20.00

A rental charge was established based on the cost of operating each facility.

Paso Robles High School gas and electric costs are approximately $876.55 per day to operate this facility. On a twenty-four (24) basis it equates to $36.52 per hour. A minimum charge of $15.00 per day was used unless occupancy is more than
5 hours, then a $15.00 rate per hour would be appropriate.

Flamson Middle School gas and electric costs are approximately $364.12 per day to operate this facility. On a twenty-four (24) basis it equates to $15.17 per hour. A minimum charge of $7.50 per day was used unless occupancy is more than 5 hours, then a $7.50 rate per hour would be appropriate.

Note that these charges do not compensate the District for total expenses, but minimizes some of the expense without being exorbitant in your rates.

The cost to operate the field lights was based on actual usage over a period of a year.

Additional Notes

Damage to District facilities will be charged at replacement value.

All users will be charged at the overtime rate when the District incurs overtime costs.

Use of facilities by the City of El Paso de Robles subject to current MOU with the District.

Use of facilities by Pioneer Players subject to MOU with the District.

Use of facilities by Boys and Girls Club subject to current MOU with the District.

Excessive schedule changes may incur additional processing charges.

All groups are subject to a late charge of $35.00 if request is not received at least 14 days prior to event.
