(California Math & Science Partnership Grant)
The CaMSP Grant is federally funded through Title II, Part B, of No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act of 2001 and is administered by the California Department of Education (CDE). The goal of the California Math and Science Partnership Grant is to increase the academic achievement of students in mathematics and science by enhancing the content knowledge and teaching skills of classroom teachers.
The partners in the grant consists of the Lead Education Agency-LEA (Paso Robles School District), the Institution of Higher Education- IHE (California Polytechnic State University, SLO), District and Private School Partners ( Guadalupe, Lucia Mar, San Luis Coastal, Atascadero, Templeton, San Miguel, Shandon, and St. Rose Catholic School).
The participants in the grant are 3rd -5th grade teachers from the districts listed above that have accepted a three year professional development commitment.
