Ø Positive Behavioral Interventions & Support (PBIS) is a proactive national framework that we are adopting district-wide to help prevent problematic behavior, teach pro-social skills, and reinforce new skills. All of these efforts are known to improve academic success for all students.
Ø Visual & Performing Arts Programs Our students, in grades K-5, will have expanded visual and performing arts opportunities which will include music, dance, and the visual arts.
Ø Physical Education We are happy to say that all students, K-5 will participate in physical education weekly and students in grades 3 -5th will see after-school sports teams on our campus that they may join including: cross-country (boys and girls), volleyball (4th/5th girls), wrestling, basketball (4th/5th boys & girls), and track (4th/5th boys & girls).
Ø Instructional Coach & Guidance Specialist Students will see two additional educators on campus this year. Our Instructional Coach will be working with teachers to strengthen instruction for greater student success and the Guidance Specialist will be providing leadership, support, counseling, and additional resources for all students, staff, and families for continuous improvement of our school.
